My name is NaTasha Palmer and I believe you should keep funding NASA I believe that you should do this because maybe we could get to some plant that is new and we can live on if earth get crowded or maybe find a new life sorace that could be very very useful to us and that could help us survive on a old planet that we can not survive on now and maybe we could find something that cures bad disease. To support my claim in NASA's Shuttle Program cost $209-was it worth it? It say “And shuttle missions repair and upgraded Hubble multiple times, enabling scientists to see the universe and never before.” If you keep funding maybe we could get farther into space and find more planet and maybe just maybe find another sun. Also in the same article it says “And hundreds of experiments performed aboard the shuttles themselves have …show more content…
All of these thing are very important to many people all over the world. In What are the advantages and disadvantages of space exploration for our society? it says “ We will of course, be learning more about our universe and developing all sorts of technologies for living in extraterrestrial environments.” We could advance in technology and could get it so no one will be hungry or homeless or thirsty.
You should also keep funding NASA because it may keep a kid how was going to be a juvenile delinquent but because you keep on founding they got it so that they got to Mars and that kid was so into studying Mars that he/she would have no time to get in trouble with the law so he/she would not have a felony on his/her record and maybe they could become someone who finds a cure for cancer. In why we explore it says “Curiosity and exploration are vital to the human

t There has been debates on whether or not NASA’s budget should be increased or cut. Personally, I agree with the people who think their budget should be cut down. Currently, $9.928 billion is spent on Nasa annually and for 2015 they sought $17.5 billion. With that money we could be funding more important causes like world hunger and disease research. Therefore, I believe that NASAs budget should not be expanded due to more important issues that can be resolved with the funding.…

Therefore, these issues, out of many, are ones that should be considered most relevant. Many people believe that accomplishments are not reached in space, so why should the government waste money on it? However, I believe there is not enough financial aid given to the space related companies for them to prove themselves, even if they have landed on the moon, six times. In a chart from a 2006 estimate on how each federal dollar is spent, space and technology is stuck with an "All Others" category with only six pennies out of each federal dollar to work with. These six pennies are also shared with many other items, like general government.…

The idea of space exploration is a trending topic with those who have a fascination with the “Final Frontier” (otherwise known as space). Some people believe that humanity should invest into programs that benefit the idea and efforts of space exploration to make it a reality. They believe that humanity's expansion into space would benefit mankind with all the knowledge and possible materials we would gain from its expansion ; they believe it’s well worth the investment and would return profit back. However, there are others who believe that space is a threat to humanity and the sheer fact that we have many unanswered questions about space can, and will, harm us.…

Take the nearest one dollar bill available to you and imagine it being cut into a hundred squares. Now picture yourself cutting halfway into a single one of those squares, you wouldn't even touch the ink yet. Thats the annual budget for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, more commonly known as NASA, resting at one half of one percent of the US tax dollar. Therefore, I am calling on Trump’s administration and the United States Congress to increase NASA’s funding from its current level, to at least one percent of the annual budget. NASA contributes massive amounts of economic, technological, and inspirational capital to our nation, and I believe their budget should reflect their importance to our modern day society.…

But aside from being extremely iconic, all these endeavors into the cosmos were the result of significant effort and funding on the part of the United States and other various space agencies. So, they foremost require money, or they will literally not get off the ground. In the United States, the ability of NASA to explore space in a consistent and revolutionary capacity has been limited by a dwindling budget, which took up at its height less than 4.5% of the federal budget and, in the modern day, takes up about 0.5% of the federal budget (Kring). As such, the budget of the space program must be sufficiently funded in order for mankind to enjoy the aforementioned benefits of its efforts. While it may be necessary to divert funding away from space exploration for certain important policy on occasion, funding the space program will almost always benefit technological development, advance scientific knowledge, and inspire millions of…

Space Exploration & Why We Should Fund It Space exploration is a really expensive endeavor to the common civilian, it costs billions to operate a mission to space, billions to build the shuttles to get up there. The U.S.A space program NASA has seen less funding each year since 1966 where it peaked at 4.5% of the federal budget down to 1% in 1975 and it still loses funding each year even today! How is NASA staying afloat and it is effecting how long it will take us to achieve reasonable and safe space travel. NASA funding is shrinking, this year the Obama administration budget proposal for NASA was $17.5 billion, below the $17.7 billion budge from 2014, major expenditures include science missions, space ops to the ISS (International Space Station) and public commercial exploration development totaling near $14 billion alone.…

These past few years the US government has drastically lowered the amount of funding NASA receives, hindering what they are able to do. However, recently privately owned companies such as SpaceX and Boeing have begun to design commercial space ships, and have even had major success and break through with those ships. Space is one of the last places, that we’re able to truly explore and find new things that could possibly help us back here on earth. Given this, NASA should receive a higher amount of funding so that it may keep up with the privately owned companies, explore new planets that could be used for colonization, and explore and discover of new and exotic places that we would never think were possible. Many people oppose the position…
