Functionalist positive perspectives as mentioned before, discipline children, curfew, teaching the children good and bad behavior. To teach children about laws, culture, beliefs, manners within the society and adults to serve as role model to their children. If laws, regulation, and policies would not exist in the world and families would be in absolute turmoil. Everything must work together to boost the economy. Maintain family stability in short someone must close the gap to keep everything balanced in the family and social institutions. Conflicts can be a positive thing and adverse effects on family and social systems. Constructive conflicts in family structure, change in household income and change in the work environment. Unfavorable conflicts are different individualities, high stress at work, stress caused by an educational institution, or divorce these are some of the prime examples. Conflicts within the family structure are indispensable that encourage change and adjusting to these changes. The affirmative action and labor laws are necessary to close the income gap, racial discrimination, prejudice between male and female including, people's culture, beliefs, values within different families (Kunz, 2013).
