A Resume is a key element to getting a job. Through a resume a person can should that they are qualified and have the experience that the employer is looking for. A resume has key component that are very important and a person needs all of them, if they are missing one component it could make or break a person getting that job. There are three different resumes and an curriculum vitae. Along with a resume a person attaches a cover letter, which is the first thing an employer looks so it must be strong and specific to the job.

A functional resume is used when a person does not have much work experience but they have a lot of skill that will help them in their job. The

It is a combination of functional and chronological resume, but it is reverse chronological order. This resume is mainly focused on skills but includes past jobs with position, employer, and dates of being employed. Some advantages of this resume are

Curriculum vitae vs resume
A curriculum vitae is a summary of experience and skills. The resume includes a lot of information including degrees, any experience in teaching, awards, current and past research, achievements, presentation, skills, past employment, grants, and fellowship, A resume normally just has three or four main factors, contact information, and sometime reference. The cv has information and detail making it longer then resume.

A resume is an important element when trying to applying to a job. When making a resume, it is important to know which resume to use. If a person has a lot of skills but not a lot of work experience it is best to the functional resume. If a person has a lot of work experience and has worked different positon it is best to use the chronological. If a person has some work experience and skills it is best to use hybrid resume. This is the resume that works best personally for me because I have some work experience not a lot, but I also have some skills that will work for my future. Using cv it
