Function of heart and lungs
The heart and the lungs are the most important part of the human body. The human body is able to function properly with the help of heart and lungs. The lungs help the human body in the respiration process and gas exchange, whereas the heart has the job to pump blood into the body.
The heart uses the help of blood vessels to deliver blood into the body. The blood vessel, vein, has the duty to deliver deoxygenated blood to the heart. The deoxygenated blood pass into the heart from the right atrium with the help of diastole then the deoxygenated blood goes to the right ventricle and the right ventricle has the duty to deliver the deoxygenated blood to the lungs through pulmonary artery and the with the help atria’s

The muscle need the help of heart and lungs to function properly. Without the help of heart or lungs the muscle won’t work. The muscles in our body essentially require oxygen and other nutrients, in order to function properly. The heart has the job to pump oxygenated blood into body and this oxygenated blood has got many nutrients and oxygen.
The oxygenated blood is comprised of plasma and red blood cells. The plasma and red blood cells helps the cells in muscle by providing them with oxygen and the plasma is also responsible for discharging waste products and Co2 from the muscle cells. The plasma is comprised of many nutrients such as glucose, amino acids, fats and vitamins and minerals and these are the components which are essentially required by the cells present in the muscle and help the muscle to function properly. For example, the glucose enable the muscle cells to contract by providing them with energy and the amino acid provide the muscle cells with protein and with the help of fats the muscle cells are able hold energy. The vitamins, minerals and salts help muscle cells to do their function properly. The heart uses the help of blood vessels and capillaries to deliver blood from left ventricle to the body with the help of aorta and atria diastole cardiac cycle. With the help of capillaries and blood vessel transport system the oxygenated blood is delivered to the cells present in a muscle such as cardiac muscle. At this point the oxygenated blood provides oxygen to the cells present in a muscle it uses the process diffusion to do this particular action. Along with providing oxygen to the muscle cells the blood, delivered from the heart, also takes away the carbon dioxide present in the muscle cells and at this point the blood becomes deoxygenated.
