Story 2:
1. Theme
The author believes that Fuad seems highly-skilled, but he actually only can speak without doing what he says. In the story, “But with a frown on her face Maryam said in an angry voice, “I see you’re an idle fellow, content only with words without climbing mountains or going down into valleys.” This quote illustrates that Fuad is a man who only speak without doing. Also, “She said she heard thunder and saw lightning, but no rain fell.” This quote displays that Fuad is a pretty inexperienced man.
2. Protagonist
The protagonist is Fuad. In the meantime, he is a dynamic character in the short story. In the short story, “But with a frown on her face Maryam said in an angry voice, “I see you’re an idle fellow, content only with words without climbing mountains or going down into valleys.” Fuad was now convinced women had changed. They had become warped and unfit for virile men.” This quote demonstrates that although Fuad adds some sexy words to talk with Maryam who he likes, he still only speak without doing anything. Meanwhile, he thinks that the reason why women feel angry about him is that they change, but his actions are right all the time. Therefore, he is a static character who never changes. At the same time, we can only know that he is a man who can only speak but never do what he says, so that he is also a flat character.
3. Mood

The mood of the story is too sexy. In the story, “Staring at the bosom of fiery Maryam, he said, “I like to climb mountains.” He stared at her belly and said, “And I like to go down into valleys.” This quote displays the Fuad’s desire for Maryam which relates to sex, and these terrible words are bad for teenagers to read and
