A study conducted in Israel by researchers at Bar-Ilan University shows promising results in the battle of alcohol addiction. Scientist test fruit flies to discover how to pleasure flies without alcohol consumption. The head of the research team, Galit Shohat-Ophir tested flies under the red-light district to see if they were affected by the red-light. This activated a protein, called corazonim (CRZ) located in their abdomen that caused them to ejaculation. As a result, to their exposure the fruit flies ejaculated and did not desire other pleasures, such as liquor spiked with alcohol.
