By using an experimental research, the fruit flies can help determine the effects of different light and heat levels to behavior. The fruit flies were placed in a control environment that exposed them to 12 hours of light and warmth followed by 12 hours of dark and cold. This controlled environment was the baseline to see the after effect when mismatch light and heat levels was presented.
