I plan to research the production history of Frozen, including the development of the film’s plot and characters, and what contributed to the many changes. For example, I know that the plot of the film was rewritten numerous times. The project was first shelved due to the fact that Disney was unable to expand upon the Snow Queen character. Years later, the production team created the characters of Anna and Elsa; however, Elsa was designed to be much more evil and ruthless than the Elsa depicted in the final film. The music and casting of the film also contributed greatly to character development.
3. Frozen is the highest grossing animated film of all time. It won innumerable awards, including the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. It’s iconic song, Let it Go, became a worldwide sensation. Being a recent film too, I believe the topic would be relevant to the class. The media’s great influence and prevalence in society makes me confident that everyone has at least heard of the film. I also believe that providing the audience with information from behind-the-scenes would be interesting and insightful, as it gives the audience a new perspective on a popular film.
4. My presentation would be purely informational. I don’t believe Frozen is the best Disney film ever, so I don’t plan on persuading others that. I would merely be informing the class of the details that went into producing the
