This past summer I had the opportunity to go on vacation to El Salvador. Every day the news were fill with report of homicides, kidnapping, and gang related crimes. Day after day seeing blood on the TV, hearing gunshots a block or two from where you live, even right in front of your house is a sad and unfortunate present for the people, especially the children, living at El Salvador. As the New York Time stated “El Salvador is convulsed in violence at levels not seen since the civil war of the 1980s. Murder rates have soared while the government struggles to rein in the powerful criminal gangs that control neighborhoods in many of the country’s cities and towns.” Knowing that the smiles of many children are been erased by fear is awful. No more afternoons playing soccer sweating like crazy while watching the beautiful sun hiding
