From Music to Big Screen

Most people in Hollywood are triple threats, acting, singing/rapping, and dancing. There is a number of music artist that have crossed over into acting. There are very few that can do both successfully. Some artist has been a hit in movies and others who have failed miserably at acting. Here is a list of 10 artists turned actors who showed us their new skills and we were fascinated with them.

10. Bow Wow
Bow Wow is a rapper turned actor, with his most popular film in 2002 " Like Mike." He also starred in "Roll Bounce," "Lottery Ticket," "Johnson Family Vacation," "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." These are just a few movies to name that Bow Wow was apart of.

9. Snoop Dog
Did you know that Snoop Dog has been in at least 34 films? Who knew that he was in so many films. Some of his roles we know him best as Rodney in " Baby Boy, " that came out in 2001. He was also in starred in Oscar winning drama " Training Day."

Ludacris
Ludacris breakthrough album came out in 2000 " Back for the First Time." Ludacris is known mostly for his acting in the franchise " The Fast and Furious." He also starred in "Crash," as a carjacker. He has also won Screen Actors Guild, Critic's Choice, MTV and Grammy Awards.

7. Beyoncé
Beyoncé Gisele Knowles - Carter we know her from Destiny's Child than moving on to her solo career. She starred in " Austin Powers in Goldmember." But some would say undoubtedly in her roles " Dreamgirls," and " Cadillac Records."

6. Jennifer Hudson
Everyone fell in love with Jennifer Hudson when she first appeared on American Idol. In In 2006 Hudson landed a roll in " Dreamgirls," alongside Beyoncé. From her performance, she won an Academy Award for best-supporting acting and a Golden Globe. Her talent is so
