Frilled Lizards

10. Is it a beard? Is it a clown's frilly neck poof? We don't really know. But check out the crazily posh, over the top neck fur on this critter. Frilled lizards would be envious. In fact, the so called king of beasts -- the African male lion -- would be envious. All that furry drama, drawn up in a surprisingly conservative black, white and gray color scheme, as if to intentionally set off the topaz eyes as stunningly as possible. Or perhaps he looks prepared for doling out ancient wisdom over oriental tea. We can't quite decide what this cat looks like. These ears make you double take and wonder is that a kanga-cat. No, it is no relation to the kangaroo. It is a cross between a domesticated cat and a Serval cat. It would make one stunning statue, except you know everyone would forevermore tell you that you messed up the ears. No one would believe the statue was based on a real life animal. People would all say "Surely, nothing really has ears like
