I have chosen to do my analysis from the play Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare. The main theme of Romeo and Juliet is love. Romeo and Juliet is considered the most famous love story of all time. The secondary character I have chosen is Friar Lawrence. His character played a significant part in the outcome of the play. There were three major parts that lead to the death of Romeo and Juliet and Friar Lawrence had a hand in all three. The first is the marriage between Romeo and Juliet; next is the faulty planning of the fake death of Juliet; and the last being that he failed to inform Romeo of his plan of the fake death. All these events lead to the double suicide of Romeo and Juliet.
