Love, forbidden or not, lets a person do crazy things such as committing suicide because that one person did something. Sometimes loving a person can make a whole other person do crazy things because they help that person do the crazy things. That person could perform marriage and the other person's parent could never know about it, but when somehow they get killed the person has to tell the parents. In William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet because of performing the marriage, not telling Lord and Lady Capulet and Lord and Lady Montague about Romeo and Juliet being together, and letting Romeo and Juliet kill themselves. First, Friar Laurence performed Romeo and Juliet’s marriage ceremony. …show more content…
Friar Lawrence did this because he thought it would end the feud,but it did not end the feud. He should have went the parents and the parents,knowing that if they were to fight they would be killed, would have let them get married. Friar Lawrence thought he had done no harm performing the marriage,but he made the situation worse. Next, Friar Lawrence did not tell Lord Capulet and Lord Montague about Romeo and Juliet being together.

Friar Lawrence could have, which he should have, instead of performing the marriage, told the parents and they would have stopped the romance before it happened. When Juliet “died”, Friar Lawrence could have been comforting Lord and Lady Capulet, but his heart wasn't into it because he knew she wasn't really dead. He could have told the Lord and Lady Capulet that Juliet was as already married and couldn't marry another man. Last, he let Romeo and Juliet kill
