FIRM has a particularly important mission and vision. There mission is simple for these refugees to assimilate. In layman terms, this means for them to become Americans. Another mission is there moto, “Sharing Christ’s love to build communities of hope with new Americans.” Their vision is to accomplish this through their faith and prayer.

Culturally Based Access/Navigation Services (CBANS) deals with mental health issues. They help remove the stigma associated mental health. In addition to this, they work hard to outreach and education, advocacy and more for the refugee community. They give referrals to community resources, case management, one-on-one drop-in services, and peer support groups; all these services are for all the refugee in the Fresno area. Consumer Family Advocacy (CFA) is mostly like CBANS, but it deals mostly the Southeast Asian community. Horticultural Therapeutic Community Centers (HTCC) is a gardening program. They supply five gardens throughout Fresno to increase wellness in the community. Medi-Cal Enrollment & Support programs help Hmong community enroll in this program.
