The French Revolution had some winning points to its cause. It was the start of people changing the way they think.The people were tired of the nobility having more rights than they had. The Third Estate was created to voice the concerns and needs of the people. Three factions were created to try to get the main ideas of their faction voiced and passed during this Assembly. One of the major problems was that people under the nobility was not able to hunt and had to rely on nobility to provide the meat to them. As part of the terms of losing, the Prussians were to occupy Paris for two days. During this time, the Parisians closed all of their shops in protest. The National Guard was unhappy of the compromises due to the war and they teamed up with some of the Parisians to voice this. This ended up with the deaths of two generals. This didn’t stop until June when the leader was killed. It was not before the slaying of an Archbishop that helped the people during the bitter winter of the Siege along with seventy other priests. Both of these revolts failed for the French. Many of the revolutionists from the Commune were executed for their crimes. Executing royalty is one thing but executing holy men is a recipe for failure in any revolt. The Commune was destined to fail because having the National Guard on your side is a good thing but that is only a fraction of the armed forces that you need to go
