Thus leading to death which seems to be the point of this ad. Fast food is detrimental to our health. The majority of fast food contains high amounts of carbohydrates, salt, sodium and sugar. With french fries containing all of those high amounts of carbohydrates, salt, sodium, and sugar, the results could be deadly. French fries have become the most common food in fast food restaurants. Excessive consumption of fast food will lead to the risk of heart disease due to all the added artificial ingredients. Along with the risk of cancer, deteriorating skin, teeth decay, kidney disease, high cholesterol, and bone weakness. (eatthis.com) Although, fast food is cheap, convenient, and there when you’re desperate and starving, it shouldn’t become a daily occurrence. Since the food and taste is so satisfying, we tend to ignore the nutrition facts. Typically, when people get off work, they’re exhausted and too tired to cook. Resulting in them going out to buy food probably more satisfying than healthy. Over time, that becomes a habit and eventually leads to all the health problems that have been …show more content…
To get a point across, sometimes you must compare and contrast with other similar topics so people can see how they relate. The truth hurts, and it could be quite frightening to see the similarities. It could be argued that the O.M.A. went too far on this advertisement along with the others, but it surely did capture people’s attention. The point of this ad isn’t to make you completely quit eating fast food, but to reassure you know what you’re getting yourself
