The majority of trash we removed accumulated from people throwing it in the creek and by water washing trash into the creek. To prevent this I am recommending spending $60,000 to employ a French Creek Environmental Educator to travel the watershed, especially near French Creek, to educate individuals about the economic and environmental effects of polluting the French Creek Watershed. It is cheaper and more cost effective to prevent than clean up of pollutants as clean up costs include disposal, risk, and the environmental damage that could not be prevented (Garbisu & Itziar Alkorta, 2001). This concept makes it more effective to look so spend the money coming in from sponsors on prevention rather than
