Ethan Allen was born in 1738 in Litchfield, Connecticut. He fought in the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. Allen lead the Green Mountain Boys and Benedict Arnold to Fort Ticonderoga to capture it from the British.

Ethan Allen was born on January 21, 1738 in Litchfield Connecticut. Allen was one of the first kids from Joseph and Mary Baker, Allen had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Allen ended up going to Yale University just like he wanted, but after his dad died in 1755 he had to help support his family. In 1777, his land later became Vermont. In
