The freeway is approximately 185.6 miles long and starts off by branching off of highway 1 at Murro Bay, from there it heads inland. On route it passes by other freeways and highways, at one point even intermixing with another freeway for a time. it passes through Fresno and enteres Yosemite national park, not stopping till it reaches wowana.

Today the portion of freeway 41 that passes through Fresno is littered with weeds and trash. They say that your home is a reflection of your personality, how it is decorated, how clean it is. My dirt road has been a hindrance to my neighborhood which has caused more than enough trouble. I have wanted it paved ever since I could personally drive and when I witnessed the issues that the road caused. The county’s lack of cooperation has left the neighborhood frustrated and unsure of how to fix the problem. My community has struggled for years with the issue of paving Calhoun road, which has caused damage to both citizens and their vehicles forcing us to bear the burden of paying for repairs and necessary improvements. I have lived on Calhoun road my entire life and for as long as I can remember my family and neighbors have tried getting it paved to no avail.…

As a young child, I grew up playing games that consisted of your typical good guy versus bad guy scenarios like cowboys and Indians. Unfortunately, I’m going to show my age next; but, consider the cartoon characters, Wylie Coyote and the Roadrunner, for instance. The lesson at the end of the 30-minute cartoon radiated one message: “Just outsmart the bad guy, and you’ll win!” Obviously, cartoons were easy to digest because no one ever died. With age, I switched to watching other characters such as the Dukes of Hazzard [County], who were more like Southern vigilantes working to do the right thing in spite of a corrupt city government run by Boss Hogg.…

If visitors of the community visit that place once, they probably might not want to go back. Trash pick up also cost a lot of money too.…

When you’re told that you’re visiting what used to be the largest landfill in the world, it’s not like you’re excited to see it, let alone smell it and stand in it. But as we stepped off the bus at Fresh Kills, we were greeted by green grass, wildflowers, and a cool breeze. Fresh Kills was the only place New York City dumped its garbage for nearly half a century.…
