Freeman Tilden Research Paper

Improved Essays
It seemed as though Freeman Tilden genuinely loved his work with the parks service. His contribution to the field of interpretation is perhaps one of his greatest accomplishments. It is not as though his work was thrown into the world and soon forgotten; as interpreters across all fields are still referencing his book today. The six principles he created are a great guide into the world of interpretation. The work Tilden did can be applied to the work we as a class will be doing with our project. While his work had a few flaws, it ultimately has become an interpreter's bible. These principles will more than likely be used by many for years to come.
