Freedom of speech in schools is a huge controversy among many people. Some people believe it should be limited, some think that students should get to say whatever they want wherever and whenever they want. It should be limited. Although it should be limited it only has to be to an extent. A lot of schools go overboard with there limits on what students can and cannot say, and where they say it. Students still have their rights and they need to be protected.
The rules in schools can be very strict, and I can understand a school punishing a kid if the kid threatens the school or anyone in it. If someone threatens a school, yes they should be punished, but if they are just talking about someone or something it should not be as big a deal. Students
