Our Founding Fathers heavily believed in religious freedom. The first amendment states that in America, you're guaranteed the right to worship or not to worship. Historically, freedom of religion has been used to refer to the tolerance of different theological systems of belief, while freedom of worship has been defined as freedom of individual action. The freedom of religion has even been recognized by the second Vatican council. Many religious organizations also provide help with the people that may not have the most fortunate life.

As fellow citizens of the United States of America, we are called forward to help the fight against the unlawful acts of persecutions relating to religious freedom. Religious liberty is the bedrock for all human freedom, it provides a sturdy foundation for limited government. Also governments that respect religious liberty tend to respect other freedoms as well. For some, it may not mean a lot but to others that have actually witnessed or been a part of neglect by means of religious freedom, it truly does mean a lot.
