Freedom Of Animals In Captivity

It feels good to be free doesn't it? Knowing we fought for our freedom. Among the many rights of American citizens, capturing and displaying wild animals shouldn't be on the list. (Claim) I'm not talking about injured animals in need of help or endangered species. (Qualifier) I'm talking about letting wild animals life in the wild. The animals in captivity suffer from depression and limited exercise. (Evidence) Some say the creatures live longer in captivity than in their natural environment. (Rebuttal) In more cases than not, this isn't true. Living in a cage is a dreadful way to live. (Warrant) In these cages and tanks that are so called "habitats" resulting in the animals undergoing anxiety and stress and eventually lashing out at the monsters who imprisoned them. The movie Blackfish for example. (Backing) Hundreds of thousands of wild animals are kept in captivity for the world to see as if a piece of artwork. Zoos are full of jail cells and glass walls. From the zoos and circuses to the aquarium's, animals are being forced on display for kids and tourists. Animals were on this earth before we were even thought of. Do you seriously think people from other countries care about our suffering animals? Probably not. Leaving animals to slowly die alone on the cement floors of their “habitat”. Feeding them cake and other unhealthy human food. Zoos don't come close to providing the needed space for a wild and exotic animal. If life in a cage isn't bad enough, let's make these animals useful. Put them to work to memorize actions in exchange for a treat. Throw them all together in a rink with clowns surrounded by obnoxious humans, who paid more than they should have to sit and watch the horrendous act.
