Freedom. So many meanings but different in every part of the world. Some countries think of freedom in a different way than we do. We have a very free country that wasn't free of charge. Freedom reminds me of fighting, America's rights, and even patriotism.

The freedom we have today was fought for, and died for. Throughout the history of country people have made many sacrifices, and have done lots of fighting. In fact, today we are still fighting to keep our freedom. The civil war in 1861, was a hard, and very important war for America. It was fought for freedom. From 1861 to 1865 over 690,000 soldiers lost their lives fighting for freedom. So, think of what our soldiers have done for us, and what they will continue to do.
