HIGH FLIGHT
Freedom is an exhilarating feeling that compares to nothing else in the world. A great example of what freedom feels like is written in the poem High Flight by John Gillespie MaGee because it is clear in his writing that freedom is an exquisite thing. “Sunward I’ve climbed, and done a hundred things, you have not dreamed of; Wheeled and soared and swung. High in the sunlit silence.” This line perfectly describes how extraordinary freedom can be. High Flight has touched my heart, not only because of it’s style but because of it’s breathtaking story.
