Prostitution is one of the largest growing industries in the United States. Even though it is one of the biggest growing industry it is hidden and kept a secret. Prostitution is a living nightmare and is happening everywhere in the world. This literature review analyzed several articles and examined if prostitution is a free will choice. The first section of this review contains what it means to be a prostitute, the types of prostitution, and how prostitution has evolved over the years. The second section will cover why prostitution is a forced choice. Several factors play a role into making this choice, sometimes women have to choose between death or selling their body for money.
