They had pumped her bloodstream full of chemicals and dropped her temperature down to below negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit. They would wait until they had some way to save her life. Jax only hoped that they hadn't been too late and there was no way to save her. Probabilities were high that she would never be saved. Tears had dried up long ago, the rage filled Jax with energy.

He went to the gym and got one of the military guys to box with him. Jax took a few hard shots, but according to the soldiers around him, "He fought like a man possessed." He kept it up, beating guards back. As he fought

The advantage is that you will save the Earth. Aside from you we have nothing. You are the last hope of the earth, they will overwhelm our EMP barrier in seconds. They will make landfall with the advantage of numbers and technology. To be honest you probably won't last very long."

"Well, with all you've told me, I will join the fight, what else can I do?" he asked rhetorically, "I was made for this, or at least the new me was. Plus, if I die I wasn't really supposed to be alive anyways. So it's not really a big issue there. I have on stipulation, I need a team."

"We've already collected the best in every field from-" The General began.

"No," Jax interrupted, "I need 'My" team. . . , And I'm gonna need an unlimited budget, with the best scientists in the world. I need engineers, plus a team of black ops fighters. Also, I need the best swordsman you know, because if I'm gonna do this, I need to know how to use this." he said as he pulled his blade from his belt.

"They inadvertently killed my girlfriend, they are threatening the rest of my family and friends, I'll kick their asses so hard they'll never know what hit them." He stood up, "And now lets get to work, the angel of death is on its way, and it's time for me to beat it back down to

Of course there is an argument to the analysis of free will. The Brain Injury Case consists of a person possibly getting into an accident that resulted in a brain injury that caused the person to lose some desires that they had before the accident. Say this person loved orange juice before the accident, but now that the person is all healed up, they no longer have the desire to drink their favorite beverage anymore. The brain injury caused the person to lose the desire to drink orange juice, even though he/she had loved the drink before the accident. This goes against what the traditional compatibilists say about free will because the person’s choice to not drink orange juice now was caused by an outside factor (the brain injury).…

The discussion of morals and moral responsibility is deep-seated in the classic philosophical repertoire. A closely related matter, and a frequent objection to moral responsibility, is determinism, the idea that given the initial state and laws of the universe, all future events and outcomes are completely determined. Over the course of this paper, I describe a particular theory for how moral responsibility can exist even in a deterministic universe. One prominent view in the realm of moral responsibility is the libertarian stance.…

There are gaps in every character's story, there is always space to add more. In season 3, episode 6, "These Delicate and Dark Obsessions," is slightly a filler episode. This doesn't mean it's not entertaining. I find it enjoyable when other villains banter and bicker with each other. The interaction between Oswald Cobblepot and Ivy Pepper brought a moment of campy humour to this otherwise dark series.…

Do we have free will? Are we able to choose what we do with our lives, or is it all predetermined by our “destiny”? In some cases, it doesn’t feel like we have control over our lives. Some people end up in situations they never thought possible and more than often, it’s easier for them to blame someone or something else. ‘Everything happens for a reason” most of them say, which causes people to think that we have some sort of pre-determined life that’s already laid out for us.…
