Apollo bit his lip. "Um," she started and Athene pulled away from Annabeth. Fredrick began to rub his wife's shoulder's reassuringly. "Actually, the tumor isn't fully gone. I was only able to minimize it enough to keep it at bay. It shouldn't bother you anymore if you take this new medicine that Will and I have prepared for you."
"Will I still have visions?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing with worry. After everything, if those visions still plagued her . . .

No one answered her, which immediately set her on edge. Her looked at each other and had a silent stare-off. Apollo and Will looked around the room like they were right in the middle of an awkward situation they wanted desperately out of. Annabeth immediately knew that something was wrong.
"What?" she demanded. Her voice shook. "What happened?"
Her father broke his staring contest with Athene with a great sigh. Quickly, he ushered everyone out of the room. Athene kissed Annabeth's forehead and gently brushed back her hair before she left. Apollo and Will shuffled out after her, leaving just Annabeth and her father.
"Daddy, what happened?" Annabeth asked, her nerves building up to a crescendo. Then, a horrible thought occurred to her. Her stomach flipped over and her heart felt like it was being squeezed until it crumbled. "Oh gods. Percy. Where's Percy?"
He father shook his head. "Annabeth, something happened the night of your surgery. Luke-"
"Luke?" A sick feeling washed over Annabeth. "You're still going to make me marry Luke, aren't you?" Her father opened his mouth to reply, but Annabeth was on the edge of hysteria. Her heart was pounding out of her chest and the blood was rushing to her head and she that this wasn't good at all for her so called "recovery" but she was too riled up to
