This book stems from my own personal journey. In 2007, at the age of 34, I acquired a bad case of acne. It was a nightmare for me and I had never struggled with my skin before. It affected my self esteem and many other areas of my life. At the time I couldn’t figure out why and how I had acquired it, and because of it, I made a conscious decision to attend esthetics school, to learn skin science and how to care for my skin better.
