The America I Believe In

I believe that in America I am safe. When I was little I didn’t realize how much Veterans did for America. But then when I got older I started to appreciate Veterans day and Veterans in general a lot more than I did when I was little.

They fought for America through difficult times and they gave us freedom. They gave us happiness and to live freely and have rights. They also gave us Freedom of Speech and so that we have the right to vote for presidents every two-four years.

My grandpa and my great grandpa were in the war. And my great grandpa said that being in the war isn’t always the easiest thing and sometimes could be difficult but at least you can fight for the people that you love. My great grandpa
