Rainy Days and Mondee
“It’s raining again!? When will it stop?!”
I imagine my dog saying this line every time it’s raining. You see, Mondee hates rainy days! He would sit by the windowsill, look at the rain, grumble and sigh loudly. Poor Mondee!
Well, staying indoors three days straight can do that to you. You see, Mondee is an outdoor type of dog. The moment he wakes up, he would go outside to do his business and play! Chasing cats is the favorite exercise of Mondee. (Thank goodness the cat escapes every time!) Aside from his cat chasing morning routine, I also take Mondee for long walks, and some play time in the park.
Unfortunately, exercise time becomes a problem when the rain starts pouring. The only thing Mondee is doing is sit and sleep. To keep him healthy, I knew he had to

Run like the Wind!
I love to run early in the morning with Mondee by my side. We would go around the park a few times before going back home. When it’s raining, we both settle for a treadmill run. Mondee started slowly, I also placed some treats on the treadmill to make him stay and start walking. I increased the speed a bit when he got used to the machine. Exercise time: 10 to 15 minutes

2. Catch me if you can!
Another indoor exercise Mondee likes is the game catch. Luckily, my living room is quite spacious and all I have to do is move some furniture around. When everything is safe, I toss his favorite Minion doll and Mondee would catch it midair. We would do this a few times before having breakfast and sometime at night before going to sleep. Exercise time: 10 minutes

3. Show me what you got!
Mondee loves to show off! He knows a lot of tricks and I love to see him do it. When we stay inside the house I bring out the treat bag and he starts performing. Sit, catch, crawl, play dead and much more! Call it a “One-Dog Dog show” if you please! Exercise time: 10-15 minutes
They are simple tricks, but it really works! Mondee stays healthy and that’s the way I like it! Not bad,
