The new Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos wants to stop the “free lunch” policy in public schools. She wants to cut down government spending by starving children attending public schools. This policy could cause a tremendous effect on American families. Unlike the billionaire, MS DeVos, not every parent can afford to send their children with a packed lunch. For some children, the meal they get at school is the only meal they get during the day. Without an adequate supply of energy, it will be hard for youngsters and small children to attend school attentively.
