It is true to say free diving will be a more attractive topic to grab the audience’s interests. However, the second topic on lacking of organ storage might be more academic and more related to the current issue in the world. Personally, I will go with the topic that Fei has more passion in. Therefore, the suggestion will be free diving, since it might be something unique and fresh to the audience. To start off free diving, clarify and define what this activity is. Accordingly, this make the others understand the basic terminologies from the start. Next on, talk about the history of the divers who created this activity and the reason that makes Fei gets involve in this sport. For instance, last winter I tried snowboarding for the first time. Provide videos for this project can increase the possibility of making it more academic; instead of, “Oh, free diving is cool” (Fei). In addition, free diving has its risks when I search the videos online. This is an issue Fei needs to tend on, because he is trying to convince people about this sport. Therefore, how to achieve this sport by decreasing the possibility of danger may become an argument to discuss. In his proposal, he used “mediative” couple times such as mediative experience and aspects. It is hard for the readers to fathom the meaning of it when it comes to an unfamiliar topic. Sports often have their positive and negative sides on people so, from Fei’s essay, he explains the psychological and physical aspects free diving brings to humans. Additionally, provide personal experience to make interactions with the audience by gathering their attentions and interests. Lastly, according to the proposal, free diving provides positive impact on people but how can Fei leaves a message behind this research is something he can works on
