Have you ever felt ashamed of your gender for doing something the same as the opposite sex? When I was on my PlayStation 4, I was playing Call of Duty: Ghost. While I was playing this guy continued to make weird inappropriate remarks to me. I was kind of offended because I'm a female who plays video games. When guys say women can't play video games, I strongly differ from that opinion. They are female players who play video games ,but most of the male players don't really notice a girl is playing. In the story They're Gamers, Not “Girl Gamers’ said “They are 38% of video game players and 42% of online players are female”. Female players had risen up within the years. There have been many female gamers who have made video games. In the story I had read by Ferneyhough it said "Many guys had said to female players to forget gaming and “go back to cooking or go back to doing girly stuff.” In the story I had read by Ferneyhough it said some guys mostly want to date the female games". They seemed like they never met a girl before when a girl joins the lobby. They get shocked and say “ There’s a girl here?” or say “ A girl?, What's a girl”. Girls mostly get asked weird questions. They usually get asked out by mostly every guy that is their. Mostly girls get freaked out and annoyed that mostly every guy asked that. So it's really annoying to hear it over and over. The article by Robbins had said “There is nothing unusual about “gamer girls”; They’re simply part of the same club to which all gamers belong.” They mostly seem like guys want to let girls win, when the guy is flirting with them or because they feel bad because they seem like girls aren’t good
