Free College Admissions Essays: Student Debt Or Scholarship?

My family is by no means rich, and my college fund isn’t exactly large I want to put as little financial strain on my mother as possible, but at the same time I don’t want to rob myself of future opportunities because I need to pay off huge student loans. I will be working during my time at UW:Stout, but if I do not have time to study or sleep because I need to work extensive hours to make ends meet, then I will just be wasting time and money.The less I will have to worry about making ends meet, the more I can focus on my studies and making the most out of my time at UW:Stout.I have left Wisconsin a grand total of once, and I am hoping that college will allow me the opportunities to broaden my cultural horizons. There is so much of the world that I would love to visit and experience, but that can hardly be achieved when one has tremendous student debt.Scholarships would ease my burden a little, and make it possible for me to not only get my degree, but also have the cultural experiences that make college so impactful. …show more content…
