Free College Admissions Essays: Beyonce's Lemonade

I'm grateful for countless things in my life. I'm basically thankful for every last thing on this earth. Everything i'm grateful for has a meaning in my my life or someone else's life. But, I'm mostly grateful for people holding the door for you when your hands are full, the moment when you have exact change and Beyonce's album, Lemonade.
If someone holds the door open for you in general, you should be thankful because you didn't even have to lift your hand to grab the door handle. You should be even more thankful if your hands are full at this time so you don't have to set down all your stuff, open the door, put your foot down as a door stopper, pick up your stuff and then go on you're way. They also just saved you big time by not embarrassing

You're starting to panic because you don't have a penny but have no fear. There’s one on the floor, so you pick it up and give it to the lady taking the money. She seems to be happy because she didn't even have to give you change. Then you stroll of with your food feeling like a champion because you didn't even have to get back those dreadful pennies.
Have you ever heard Beyonce's album yet? If you haven't, I suggest you do because it's the deepest album I've ever heard. If you’re feeling happy, listen to “Sorry”, if you're feeling sad listen to “All Night,” if you're feeling jumpy listen to “Formation.” There’s literally a song for every mood you feel. Not a lot of albums can say they’ve been nominated for #1 album of the year you know. Also, who isn't grateful for Beyonce? She doesn't even need instruments or beats in her music because her voice is just so beautiful with and without auto-tune.
I didn't want to write about how I'm thankful for food or family because that’s too easy. I tried to think out of the box a bit, and think about the little moments I’m grateful for. I am grateful for food and family but is that it? No

“Rest in peace Jacoby Mason” those were the words I remember reading on the day that my world fell apart. When you grow up with someone you never think that they will leave you so soon. For me, I never thought that I would lose my best friend, who has been there ever since Pre-Kindergarten, at the beginning of senior year. We have been through everything; he was one of the very few people that I could lean on when I needed someone. We shared countless memories from exchanging gifts at various times throughout the year, calling each other no matter what time it was, and even taking pictures (the biggest struggle of them all).…

The flesh is willing, but my spirit is weak Though I strengthen fortitude with spirits and rye Grinning rye optimism through gritted teeth and pain Peering into the pane of my soul through my eyes as I utter “good as I can be” Utter despair isn’t agony until twilight, realizing I’ve failed another day Looking back in my twilight to the unrealized promises of my youthful spring Always waiting to spring into action, but potential never realized Until one day I realized there is such a thing as too late. I am currently thankful but I do recognize that I am going through challenges with being a family man, dad and great husband. I have grown into this role over the past 7 years. It gets challenging at times being an adult. Somedays I just want to not have the responsibilities of waking every morning worrying about breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries, bills, drop off pick-ups and all the other things that come with running a household. There are times that I would just like to take my wife out to dinner and not worry about coming back home two hours later because the babysitter is watching our kids.…

Take off the Makeup with Pride After a exhausting and draining day of school, students are finally able to grab their things and get out of the hell hole, teachers and parents call school. The most amazing feeling after school is being able to take off your backpack and rest on the couch. Unfortunately, for girls and boys like me, I wear makeup. I am thankful for all the wonderful things in life and all the things that I have. To be here and born on Earth and having to live thirteen wonderful years, I am so thankful for all of it. First and foremost, I am thankful for having my parents being there all the time, even though at times I’d wish they’ll leave me alone, but I know that they are just there to care for me and there to love me. I am thankful that my parents are not divorced because a lot of kids in the whole world don’t live with both of their parents and I know that they wish that their family is complete. So I am thankful for my family being together.…

Should college education be free for all U.S. citizens? How are free universities in Germany and other European countries benefiting these countries and students? Imagine how the U.S. would benefit from free college education. How many more students we would have that actually finish college and not only that, but don’t have a huge debt to pay back afterwards. Other than the fact that yes, if there was free college less students would take it as a joke like if it were high school.…

Growing Up in a Broken Home and What it Has Taught Me Growing up I had typical childhood experiences, but unlike some of you I grew up in a broken home. Many people would say I got the short end of the stick; however, I believe it has in some ways made me a better person. It was not because of the broken home, tons of other people grew up that way, it was the completely opposite lifestyles I observed in both homes that changed me. It has taught me many life lessons, including the fact that a man does not have to be your father to be a dad.…

Every human being has a consciousness and is self-aware of their feelings and what is happening around them. Even though some people through their life experience are aware to distinguish if they are orientated on the right path or not; some people like me are still experiencing life and still figuring out if they are orientated or disorientated. Through friends and ones’ goals in life can enable them to find their way. Finding our way and knowing who we are is very difficult because sometimes we tend to think that we already know who we are, but along the way we discover that what we thought to be is not that. Ahmed started “of how is it that we come to find our way in a world that acquires new shapes, depending on which way we turn” (1).…
