CAST
Freddie Harris: A blue- or pink collar worker in her late 30s. She’s somewhat passive, and often exhausted by life in general. For years, she’s simply been going with the flow, because trying to resist it more than she already does by simply existing seems impossible.
Her partner recently died from a chronic illness; unable to afford continued treatment and live comfortably, she chose to let herself pass. As a result, she’s feeling lower than she has in a long while.

The Stranger: An otherworldly figure of ambiguous origin. Likely centuries old, with a dress sense to march – they look straight out of a hieroglyphic tome, a Byzantine icon or an illuminated manuscript.

Nate Londa's visual piece depicts a gray and dreary background with a toddler still in his or her diaper turning on the tv to watch violence through war, fighting, gun-play, and destruction. Below the errie illustration, the title is in bold letters, "Silence the Violence"(Londa). The picture creates the argument that children still in their diapers can be exposed to an array of violence through media and can become aggressive by watching such programs. The drawing is powerful, and so are the words and facts at the top of the piece. The words and the picture include all the foundations of designing a persuasive argument: logos, pathos, and ethos.…

The new rendering of the “Girl in the Lavender dress” keeps a similar plot because they both involve a feminine ghost, wandering or having something to do with a road. Also they both involve witness’s testimonies on spending time with the ghosts without even knowing it. This is true, because according to the “Girl In the Lavender dress”, it has the lines of,” And it was after dusk when we first saw her. This experience was of great value; it gave me insight to a fundamental process that is essential in the area of end of life care. The life review process is a necessary intervention that allows us to assist the patient in reaching a sense of meaning, peace, and wholeness, consequently, allows them to accept death without fear. One, particularly difficult moment for me, was when I asked her if there were anything in her life that she could change today, what would it be, G.S. quickly replied, “I would have my husband here with me”.…
