There are two types of disabilities, being mentally disabled or physically disabled. Kevin's body held him back from reaching his full potential. Max and Kevin are like an accurate representation of yin and yang. Both lack something important, but the other side makes up for it. Max’s body allowed Kevin to feel like he didn’t have Morquio Syndrome, and allowed Kevin’s short life to be completely worth it. Kevin was like Max’s guardian angel that gave constant encouragement and the willpower Max needed to move on from the past into his coming future. Max and Kevin show what the prime power of friendship can do to impact one’s life.
