Freak the Mighty is a heartwarming story. Both the book and the movie are very enjoyable. It is very easy to find similarities and differences between the two stories and the movie. The similarities between the story and the movie is very mysterious that will shock your mind.
Freak the Mighty the book and The Mighty the movie have many similarities. Max, Kevin, Grim, and Gwen are the main characters. Both Kevin and Max were outcasts and found friendship in each other. The two boys played with Kevin’s ornithopter, which was a special toy. In their spare time, they went on quests. They referred to females as fair maidens.
Also the novel and the movie show connection of how Max and Freak became friends. At every point of every chapter they get closer and become more like brothers. Max and Freak never let each other down at any point of the story to the movie. Max has helped Freak with a lot in his life. Not only that, but Freak also helps Max to with problems he has struggled with a lot.
There are a lot of similarities in the story and the movie. But in conclusion there is some difference in the two also. As you can see not every story or movie come out the same between each other. In the movie The Mighty, after they get the purse back from the sewer the gang show up and want to steal it back from the Freak, Freaks and Max. In the story Freak the Mighty a very scary strategy accuses the doctor said that Freak only had less than a week before he was laid to rest. In the movie The Mighty he had a year left before he would be gone
