There’s no doubt that everywhere you go, you are being judged. By the people around you, the animals, even microscopic organisms judge you (not kidding). For instance, many times I get judged by my own mom about my hair, my shoes, and the fact that I love cheeseburgers since it’s said to cause acne; although, I don’t really care for those statements about how I look, because if you really want to know someone or make good friends, you look past looks, and you judge people by personality. Wouldn’t it be nice if the whole world was like that? That is the truth, the whole truth, the unvanquished truth is how Freak would say it.

This is similar to the ways of how the characters in the book “Freak The Mighty” are most commonly judged, such as Max, the main character. The character of Maxwell Kane is first described as tall, illiterate, and kind of a grump, especially since, in the book, he

That box contains a computer, you know what a computer is?” For example, if we were to judge him solely on his appearance, we might assume that he is rough and mean mainly because he is crippled and was probably bullied for it. In fact, when we first see him, he is actually yelling at some movers to be careful with his computer (which he could have used for cyberbullying). This consequently shows that he is quite rough with people and pretty fearless. Kevin also yells at Max in an aggressive tone to try to tell him what his name is. However later, we see that he is incredibly smart and starts making friends with Max, and riding on his shoulders when their going around their city. consequently, This refutes our initial judgement of him by showing that Kevin is a nice person, and although he is crippled, he does have lots of enthusiasm and knowledge as well as being pretty
