However, one afternoon in English class, Mr. Drazic my English teacher with an average height, wearing a blue shirt and black pants called me out of the class saying “Mandeep, can you step out of the class I would like to have a discussion with you.” This was the first time I was talking to my teacher alone especially when I just knew him for two weeks. I was extremely excited to know why Mr. Drazic called me out thinking that a special event was going to take place in school. As I walked towards the brown squeaky door that was just footsteps away made me feel like I took the long route. The label that was placed by my teacher as a fraud was eliminated, however still remembered by my mind and heart because I was judged because of who I am, a Indian from my background. However, I kept working hard and writing better and better in order to reveal to everyone that I was falsely accused of plagiarism. As a senior in high school, I was never judged again, instead through my writing pieces I placed myself in the heart of my teacher Mrs. Bernstein. Every time I wrote a writing piece I always received a grade of 95 and above which removed the judgment placed by others that Indians can’t write. As time progressed and as I wrote more my English teacher told me that I should have been in her AP class since I received the highest grade out of all her classes. Instead, I believe that anyone can write all you need is a paper and pen to put your ideas and feelings on paper which is truly the writer’s
