Franz Liszt was born on October 22,1811 in Raiding, Austria. He died on July 31,1886 in Bayreuth,Germany. He died of pneumonia. Franz Liszt was a pianist who got his wonderful talent from his father. Franz Liszt only played piano, no contemporary instruments. His parents were Adam and Anna Liszt. Franz Liszt did not have any brothers or sisters. He did ,however, have two wives, Marie d'Agoult and Carolyne Zu Sayn- Wittgenst. Franz Liszt was introduced to the piano and started playing at age 7. By age nine, Franz
