Frank's Life: Circular System Of Reaction And Response

Decent Essays
I could relate to Frank’s life on how he lived a circular system of react and response. I come from a family of six, which means growing up I really did not have none of the nice stuff. I really never had the time to learn and grow the way I was supposed to as a woman; I basically had to learn on my own. I had to focus more on bringing money home instead of school. I had to make sure my sibling had a full stomach every night. This was the reaction I was going through, I was beginning to get tire of the life style I was living, and I just wanted happiness. My dream is to always be successful no matter what it takes to get there I am getting tire of living in poverty. The response I took into action is now that my life is a lot better than growing

Although each of the four of the individuals featured in the book Gig: Americans Talk About Their Jobs experienced distinct circumstances, each of them shared the similar value that work yields success. It was through each of their perspectives and attitudes towards this belief that distinguished their stories from one another. Both Javier Lopez and Mike Jackson detested their current jobs yet remained ambitious and hopeful to obtain success. The succesful person is not the one who achieves his idealistic life, but a practical one that will never fail him. And as such you should always see life how it is, and not how you want it to be, take away for example the Glass Castle and the life of Pi. First of all, you should not make promises you can’t keep. In Josh Sundquist’s book Just Don't Fall he covers many aspects of the average human and the way we go about things. One aspect that I like is he really strives to show the drive, and the urge to never give up no matter what circumstances you are presented with. After reading this book I really decided to rethink many aspects of my own life and questioned how determined am I to actually do stuff. One way I plan to apply this to my own life is by putting all my effort into something if i'm going to even bother with it in the first place. What I mean is I don't wanna half ass it if my names going to be on the paper.…

I interviewed my grandfather Charles Rutherford who lives down the road from me. We discussed a few different topics such as what his life was like being a kid, what he thought of school, and how he knew my grandmother was the one for him. It sometimes got off tracks talking about his children and what happened to them, but for most of the time we stayed on topic. We talked a lot about what life was like and his jobs and his life overall. This interview started about his life in Tennessee and it wasn't easy for him back then, he had to walk miles to school and his dad wasn't around very often.…

Every single day there are many decisions that need to be made. Choices that can be as little as wake up time and some that are as big as choosing which college to attend. Every day, more or less, is the same for the average person. We rise, work, and return home to start over. The only reason anyone would succumb to a seemingly dreary existence is because there is a light inside that tells us everyday we get through is another day closer to that thing we want most for ourselves. This is seen in “War Dance”, a documentary about the yet to be mitigated Uganda, and the wondrous film “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. One could even see it in the classic novella “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck.nThis is because this light is inherent within all of us, giving us the push that is needed in order to go through every day.…

Author Robert Tew once stated, “the struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.” Although people struggle in life, they must not focus their minds on the struggle, instead they should look at the positive impacts that come from the struggle. Living a fortunate life doesn't mean that a person will not face any differences or any problems to overcome. Living a content life is about being able to conquer everything that can be a distraction in one’s life by being able to see nothing but what they have been gifted with. Doing this requires a person to dig very deep, to notice that they are blessed.…
