1. Franklin Delano Roosevelt came into power as the 32nd president of the United States in March, 1933. He was the only president in American history to hold office for four terms. He was the American Leaser during the Great Depression and World War II. He rose to be the head of Democratic Party which had strong hold over American politics for three decades. Relief to the farming sector and agricultural reforms. One of the most pressing issues of Roosevelt’s era was the farm relief issue. The farming community was severely poverty stricken barely able to keep both ends meet and they defaulted on their mortgages and other costs. Roosevelt addressed this vital issue by implementing reforms in the shape of Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) for the provision of relief to the farmers.
