Franklin Roosevelt was born in New York, Hyde Park a January 30 of 1882, his father was James Roosevelt and his mother was Sara Ann Delano Roosevelt, he was an only child.
Regarding his education, he had private tutors until he was 14, after he attends to Groton School, a school only for boys, in Massachusetts. After his graduation in 1900, he entered to Harvard University.
Franklin study law at Columbia University, he passes its examination in 1907 but later he found that law didn't like it because it was boring and restrictive.
He won elections in 1912 as a Democrat in a district where Republicans had won for 32 years, and later he being re-elected.
