Franklin D. Roosevelt was the president of the United States for three total terms, from 1933-1945. He was going to college to be a lawyer, but unfortunately dropped out. Even through his under graduate school seemed to be a breeze for him. During the 1930s, a majority of the New Deal acts were written off as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Roosevelt tried to get back at the Supreme Court by proposing to stock the court with justices more favorable to his New Deal Idea, but those in Congress, including some Democrats, disagreed and did not pass the idea. Roosevelt had some negative times during his three terms, he had some things that are still being used to this day. As in a few of the alphabet agencies like, SSB (social security board) which was meant to carry out the orders supplied by the Social Security Act of the previous year. He also created FHA (Federal Housing Administration) which was initially created to help unemployed construction workers and to help Americans move from a nation of renters into a nation of owners, and also created TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) which was made to control floods and improve living environments.
