Although Roosevelt died before the war ended his reaction to WW2 set the Americans up for victory. His declaration to was justifiable (according to Just War Theory) and this sent a message that America was not going to stand by inaction and allow the Axis power to advance. Roosevelt's decision making was Justifiable because the U.S territory and interests were in danger, so at the time, self defence was the only option. President Roosevelt declaration of war, was not only his right, but his duty as Commander-in-Chief to do whatever it took to insure national security for the people of the United States and this gave the American troops a sense of honor when going to war because they knew their selfless decision was highly valued.…

I remember when Donald Trump first announced his political run for office. He built his campaign on the slogan: We’re going to Make America Great Again, “reinforced” by his bold claim of “building a wall”. When Trump got down into the weeds with Megyn Kelly during the first Fox News Republican debate, I sensed Donald Trump was a proud and arrogant man. I went on my own campaign against him; making phone calls, writing emails, calling news agencies and talk shows, posting madly to Facebook — whatever I could do to try to stop a really bad person from wrecking the Republican Party and damaging the nation. NeverTrump was my obsession, but it was, at that time, merely political for me.…

Sadly, in 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt passed away largely due to health problems suffered due to the stresses and pressures of the second World War which was still rampant at the time of his…

“When the war began, the United States had entered a period of isolationism. Americans viewed the conflict as Europe’s problems and wished to keep it that way” (“Reasons for American Entry into World War II” 1). America could have avoided the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Holocaust could have been stopped earlier and the death count would have been less. Europe would not have fallen to Hitler’s Power, and the war would of ended much sooner than 1945.…
