Frankenstein’s Power Trip The struggle for power shows presence throughout many places in life whether it be struggling for power on a sports team, having authority over another, or attempting to gain control over another country in war. In Frankenstein, however, there are many different times there were struggles for power between Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his creation. Dr. Frankenstein shows a struggle of power from knowledge by reading a bunch of books. Throughout the book, there were struggles between Dr. Frankenstein and his creation, Dr. Frankenstein's within himself, and The creation towards Dr. Frankenstein which do not target him but the ones he loves and those who are close to him.

Frankenstein had power over his creation while he was creating him and it seems as if Dr. Frankenstein struggled controlling things in his life so he attempted to create something he had power over and would satisfy him. Throughout both the life of Dr. Frankenstein and his creation both seem very lonely and do not have much power over ay relationships in their lives and both want to have power over something in their lives. Frankenstein has issues within himself struggling for power which he gains power by reading book and knowledge. Reading books gave him knowledge which he found as knowledge is power.
The creation showed personal struggles that were directed towards Frankenstein by showing his physical power over Frankenstein. While the creation may not be able to outsmart Dr. Frankenstein he could easily overpower Frankenstein. The creation also shows his power by killing those close to Frankenstein. The creation kills the boy who we later discovered as William Frankenstein a relative of Victor. Later on the creation frames Justine for the murder of William. This shows the creations struggle for power as he framed Justine. The creation was not trying to kill William but framed her to avoid being
