As the vehicle came to a rushing stop, the roaring thunder ferociously covered up the screaming screeches of the tires. Quickly ripping my dream into shreds and pulling my conscious mind back to reality. The hard-rustic metals of the car doors smash together, creating a loud thud as I gaze upon the warm colors of my mother's soft silk scarf as she rushes into the house. My body seemingly reacted by itself twisting and turning on the hard-wet concrete. All the violent struggling made the vile creature lose its tight hold. I knew this would be my only opportunity to get away. I swiftly jump to my feet, without a second's delay, sprinting as fast as I could towards the house. I begin to scream bloody murder for someone to open the door, but no one did. Suddenly I reach the tall black door, frantically pounding it trying to get someone to open it for me. I turn to see what was chasing
