Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man Research Paper

This should be called The Wolf Man Meets Frankenstein, as the first half of the film has nothing to do with Frankenstein and focuses solely on Larry Talbot. Which I'm not complaining about. Since The Wolf Man is probably my favorite Universal monster film from that era. Though the Frankenstein monster is my favorite of the universal monsters, go figure. Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man is a direct sequel to the events of the Wolf Man and follows the events of The Ghost of Frankenstein. Which I plan to talk about at a later date. While not as strong as The Wolf Man, honestly few films are, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man is a solid film and was more than worth watching.

Which results in the death of one of the grave robbers. Larry then awakens in a hospital having suffered a head wound. The head Doctor Mannering (Patric Knowles), who doesn't believe in Talbot's warnings. Even though he does believe that Talbot is dangerous, after he escapes under the light of a full moon killing a constable. Mannering thinks Talbot is suffering from a mental disorder and has him strait jacketed while he and Inspector Owen (Dennis Hoey) go to Llanwelly to check the Talbot tomb. While there they learn of Talbot's escape during a full moon, tearing out of his straight jacket and disappearing. Talbot tracks down Maleva (Maria Ouspenskaya), the gypsy who's son bit Larry cursing him. She agrees to help him find a way to die and suggests that they visit Dr. Frankenstein who has learned the secrets of life and death. So they travel to the village of Vasaria to find Dr. Frankenstein. But when they arrive they learn that Frankenstein has died along with his monster.
